First and foremost, we ask that you pray for Mercy Health Center and its continued growth and development. The needs are great, and the opportunities for service are endless. In the face of these many needs, we want to remain true to God’s will for this ministry.
Mercy Health Center is volunteer-supported. You do not have to be a healthcare professional to join us in this effort. We have many volunteer opportunities that extend beyond those of providing patient care during clinic hours. Currently, volunteers serve in these and other areas:
- Medical, Pharmacy & Dental Care
- Fundraising & Marketing
- Spanish Interpreting
- Administrative Assistance
- Emotional & Spiritual Care
- Building Maintenance
If you are interested in volunteering as a MD, DMD, PA, NP, PharmD, PHD, RN, LCSW, etc., please send your completed Clinical Volunteer Application to email@example.com and our volunteer coordinator will contact you.
All other non-professionals interested in volunteering, must fill out a completed Patient Support Volunteer Application to firstname.lastname@example.org and our volunteer coordinator will contact you. Our volunteer coordinator will not be reviewing these applications until March 2018 due to the high volume of applications already received.
MEALS FOR MERCY
Many volunteers come straight from school or work to serve Mercy’s patients. One way to be a part of the work at Mercy is to help provide a meal on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday evening (5:30pm) for approximately 35 volunteers. We strongly believe that happy volunteers, who are not hungry, make happy patients! If you are interested in feeding volunteers, please contact Angie Johnson by phone: 706-425-9445 ext. 202 or by email: email@example.com.
