Dr. Murrow is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the GRU/UGA Medical Partnership, where she teaches community health to first year students. She received her B.A. from Wellesley College, her M.Sc. from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, and her M.D. from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She completed her residency at Emory University and holds Board Certification in Internal Medicine. Dr. Murrow’s interests and activities focus on health literacy and improving health in underserved populations. She serves on the boards of the Athens Health Network, UGA HEROS, and the Georgia Alliance for Health Literacy. She lives in Bishop with her husband, Dr. Jonathan Murrow, and their three daughters: Madeleine, Ella and Sophie. The Murrows are active members of Ashford Memorial Methodist Church, where they teach Sunday school to the lower elementary class.
