Dr. Wiggans is a retired medical oncologist. He graduated from Bucknell University ’68 and Cornell University Medical College ’72 and did his training at Georgetown Univ. Hosp. ’72-’77. After training he practiced in New Haven, Ct. for eight years and then for 25 years in Athens. He has been happily married for 47 years (Marlo) and has 3 sons- Paul, Scott and Keith and 2 grandchildren with a 3rd one due in August. He has been volunteering at Mercy Health Center for 5 years and been a Clinical Ass’t Professor at the Medical Partnership for 4 years. He is also on The Cancer Foundation board and is currently president.
