For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Dental Services at Mercy
Mercy Health Center offers dental services to all established medical patients. An individual can schedule an appointment by calling 706-425-9445. At times, the waitlist may be for several weeks. Because we cannot offer walk-in emergency dental care, patients must have a scheduled appointment to receive treatment. Currently, the dental clinic provides services on Wednesdays and Fridays.
Regular preventative dental care is essential for good oral health.
Your oral health is directly linked to your overall wellness.

Volunteer Providers
The Mercy Health Center Dental Clinic relies on dentists, hygienists, and dental assistants to volunteer their time and resources to make what we do possible. Providers’ hours of service are by personal preference. UGA pre-dental student volunteers will be available to assist providers during clinic hours.
The dental clinic has six operatories, digital x-ray, Sirona panoramic, upgraded sterilization, and necessary PPE. HVE enhancements for assisting with evacuation, isolation, and retraction are also available.
Student Volunteers
UGA pre-dental student volunteers will first need to submit a Patient Support Volunteer application to Mercy Health Center. After completion of the volunteer intake process, students will be channeled into the dental team. Student volunteers must complete an orientation covering infection control, bloodborne pathogens, EMR dental software, and CDC, OSHA, and OSAP regulations before having hands-on experience in the dental clinic.
