United Way Search Tool

The United Way of Northeast Georgia provides a search tool to determine services near you for your specific needs. To use this tool, click HERE and then enter your zip code and what kind of resource you are looking for. You can also receive information by calling 211 from your cell phone or landline or texting 898-211.

Transportation

To get to Mercy Health Center you can take Athens Transit, route #7 - Prince Avenue. A link to information about this route can be found here. Mercy is located right next to Bishop Park off Oglethorpe Avenue.

Senior Housing Net: Housing

The website SeniorHousingNet.com exists to help older adults find housing that will meet their current and future care needs, while allowing the most active and social lifestyles possible. We believe that by helping seniors find the best communities with the appropriate level of care (such as home care, assisted living, or other types of care), they can continue to thrive – both mentally and physically.

Medications

Here are some resources for getting your medications at a discounted price or free.

GoodRx is a prescription discount service. GoodRx works similarly to a coupon at the grocery store. Use this card at all pharmacies for a discount on your prescriptions. Get a discount card for your medicine here or pick up a GoodRx card in our office.

Publix Pharmacies offer a number of medications for free.
