Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.

Churches

Mercy Health Center began its operation in a Sunday School classroom at a local church. Our mission is deeply rooted in the church and continues to have a significant role in our daily operations. We truly believe that God gave us each other to encourage one another in love. Mercy is passionate about empowering the local church to serve the marginalized in our community.

Power of Prayer

Mercy Health Center’s goal isn’t just to heal patients but to serve as shepherds in their faith journey. We invite you to pray for our students, volunteers, patients, staff, and Board of Directors. Join our Prayer Team!

A quote from one of our UGA Volunteers:

“What I really love about Mercy is how, ever since I began, I could feel the compassion and drive for care that we extend towards our patients. It is truly a blessing to work alongside so many dedicated and people-oriented individuals to make the biggest impact on the community that we can. Working in the pharmacy and interacting with the other departments has shown me that Mercy truly does care for the mind, body, and spirit of the patients and team members alike. I could not be more grateful to be a part of the light that Mercy shines!” -Alessio

Invite Mercy to Your Church

Whether it’s in front of your congregation on Sunday, at a yearly missions fair, or at a small group gathering, Mercy is ready to share our vision and inspire action among your congregation to fulfill the biblical mandate to care for the underserved in Athens and surrounding counties. Contact ricky@mercyhealthcenter.net.

Can a Large Group from My Church Come Volunteer at Mercy?

Due to the nature of a bustling healthcare clinic and our large number of individual volunteers, Mercy encourages larger groups to consider off-site projects like hosting a collection drive. We’d also be happy to host your group for a clinic tour and tell you more about our work! Contact ricky@mercyhealthcenter.net

Thank you for sharing your love of Jesus, acts of service, and gifts with Mercy Health Center!

Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth. Worship the LORD with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the LORD is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
